Small Habits - A BIG shift
Published — 02 Oct 2026

Habits form early on in our lives. Various entities influence us as we grow starting with our parents, siblings, friends, relatives and society, not to mention the influence of cultural practices. One becomes a summation of all practices formed while young and carry it forever.
So, how do we know if a habit we have is good or bad? It requires a two-pronged analysis – One – it must serve you well, meaning it must have kept you in good stead, second – it is something you proudly boast about and pass it on to the next generation. If for instance your family had a culture of having salads in every meal, it becomes your habit too when you grow up On the other hand, if you are from a family where they had sugary donuts and cream laden bagels or burgers for fixing hunger, that would become your way of life when you work too! Habits can make you or break you. The small habits that you subconsciously follow have the potential to build you inside out or wreak havoc as you age. So introspecting habits regularly matters and goes a long way in keeping you healthy. At Antarveda, we coach clients to form better habits and remove nonbeneficial ones from their life without the overwhelm by empowering them with needed information.
